Mitmita is a rose-red colored very hot chilli powder, made from dried pepper spiced with cardamom & salt. It imparts to meat or other foods a wonderful, delicate and unparalelled taste. Usually served with Ethiopian dishes, Kitfo and Tibs. Typically used for Ethiopian dishes, but can also be used in chicken dishes, cheese dishes, in yogurt or cream cheese as a dip or with baked potatoes, with vegetables or in salad sauce to give a touch of excitment.
